Music composition and sound design for Desert Star, an installation blending interactive theatre and video game by the Chinese artist duo In Vitro, produced by Le Fresnoy — Studio National des Arts Contemporains.

The installation features a firebird arriving on a desert planet, where it encounters an old computer and a conversation unfolds between them. The film's story questions the notion of autonomy: can a machine acquire a form of autonomy by coding itself, as biological systems do? When such systems are used to manage human society, do they amount to constraint or to a form of freedom?
