Minh Lê Boutin is a multidisciplinary artist, composer and musician, based in France. With a background spanning visual and digital arts, jazz and electroacoustic composition, her practice spans music composition and sound design, performance, video and photography, creative coding and installation.
Inspired by ecopoetics, her work navigates between healing and music. Drawing from the landscapes she explores, she gathers her own audiovisual material – capturing living textures, vegetal forms and sonic environments – to create poetic and organic audiovisual symbioses.
On stage, Minh Lê Boutin embodies her hybrid musical self Ginkgökoko. At the crossroads of ambient, jazz, and experimental music, her audiovisual performances blend voice, piano, synthesizers, field recordings and live electronics.

Minh Lê Boutin develops a transdisciplinary practice as a personal ecosystem, exploring the plasticity of sound and digital imagery as organic and emotional materials. Drawing from vegetal fragility, her practice seeks to understand the world by creating from « nature » and returning to it, unifying multiple bodies, emotions, identities, inner and outer environments.
Her compositions bring together fragments of insects, birds and sounds of wind with impressionistic harmonies and layered voices, blending acoustic and synthetic sounds. Whether commissioned for film scoring or emerging from her personal art, her works unfold hybrid forms shaped by improvisation and transformation of materials.
Inspired by her Vietnamese roots, Minh Lê Boutin invites slowness and contemplation, calling for renewed attention to forms of care and natural intelligence. Through her multiple identities, she manifests transformation and breathing, beyond medium and material.

Minh Lê Boutin est une artiste plasticienne multidisciplinaire, compositrice et musicienne, basée en France. Issue de formations allant des arts visuels et numériques, du jazz à l'électroacoustique, son parcours l’amène à croiser différents médiums tels que la composition et le design sonore, la performance et les arts graphiques, la vidéo et la photographie, ainsi que le code et l'installation.
Inspirée par l'écopoésie, son travail navigue entre la guérison et la musique, imprégnée d'une obsession pour le monde végétal. Par la distorsion de matières visuelles et sonores issues de paysages qu’elle explore et observe, elle crée des symbioses audiovisuelles, façonnant une poésie où s'immerger – se guérir par le son et l'image.
Sur scène, Minh Lê Boutin incarne Ginkgökoko, un jardin musical hybride au croisement de l'ambient, du jazz et de l'expérimental. Mêlant voix, piano, synthétiseurs, field recordings et effets, ses compositions et improvisations peignent des paysages aux sonorités organiques et végétales.

Minh Lê Boutin développe une pratique transdisciplinaire à la manière d'un écosystème intime et personnel. Elle y explore la plasticité du son et de l'image comme des matières organiques et émotionnelles. Inspirée par la fragilité du monde végétal, elle s'intéresse à créer à partir du lien au vivant pour retourner à celui-ci, invitant à unifier nos multiples corps, émotions, identités, environnements intérieurs et extérieurs.
Dans ses compositions, des fragments sonores de chants d’insectes, d’oiseaux et de vents, rencontrent des harmonies impressionnistes et des superpositions de voix. Que ce soit pour des commissions de musique à l'image ou pour ses travaux personnels, sa musique façonne des paysages hybrides issues d'improvisations et de transformations de matières.
Inspirée par ses racines vietnamiennes, Minh Lê Boutin souhaite inviter à la lenteur, appelant à une rehabilitation de nos sensibilités, à l'importance de prendre soin, à la conscience et l'éveil de nos intelligences naturelles. Incarnant des identités multiples, elle manifeste un appel à la contemplation, à la transformation et à la respiration, au-delà des mediums et des matières.
